Cat in the Kitchen

Well, this is my latest project:

It started back in November with a very common scene from our cat sitting over kitchen´s balcony.

I quickly captured the scene with an ordinary cellphone camera and did some preliminary sketches:

And bellow is the final piece with a couple of close-ups:

Old São Paulo Landscape Painting

While I was re-organizing some old paintings I found this one from 2005 timeframe. It was one of my first pen and ink with washes of Golden fluid acrylics.

Over the Rainbow...

This year I decided to dedicate more time to drawing, specially the figure and faces. I started a new sketchbook exclusively for that. In the meantime, I'm trying to foster likeliness into portrait drawing.

This sketch was based on a famous Judy Garland picture taken in 1939.

Here is the final piece:
